Traditional photographic methods are alive and well. Have a look at this:

The 9th Annual Exhibition of the Traditional Darkroom Printmakers Group at the Melbourne Camera Club

The theme this year is toning prints. You must have seen those old brown prints - sepia prints. That is one type of toning.

There are lots of prints both toned and untoned from a number of photographers.

Dramatic prints - portrait prints - senic prints - experimental prints - and more

Don't miss out on this presentation of excellent photography and darkroom work.
Entry is free, snacks and drinks will be available at the opening on 22nd August at 2pm.

And you can get to it easily by public transport - it is just along Ferrars Street from South Melbourne Light Rail Station.
