Summer is upon us so it’s time to escape the city and enjoy the great outdoors; and what better way to do this than to learn one of the hottest water sports – wakeboarding! Join Meet Market Adventures and other bold singles as we head out to beautiful Indian Arm for a fun-filled day of wakeboarding.

Our highly qualified instructors will walk us through wakeboarding and water safety tips and then introduce us to the equipment we’ll be using before we hit the water. Over the course of the day we’ll learn basic wakeboarding techniques such as the proper stance to use to stay up on the board, handle positions, how to cross wake-to-wake, switch 180, as well as goofy and regular stances. For those who have been wakeboarding before or are quick learners, you’ll be able to try your hand at grabs, cutting the wake and popping some air.

If you haven’t been to Indian Arm you are in for a real treat as it provides spectacular scenery and wildlife and is considered North Americas southern most glacier fjord. Who else can say they learned how to wakeboard in a fjord?

This adventure is sure to sell out fast, so grab your bathing suit and towel and join us for a day of play and fun in the sun!

 What to bring/wear: bathing suit, towel and sunscreen, hat, flip-flops/sandals for on the beach, water, camera, lunch and a change of clothes for afterwards.
