Canada Day at Mel Lastman SquareWednesday, July 1, 2009 Toronto celebrates Canada’s 142nd birthday at Mel Lastman Square. This popular event is a celebration for the whole family that brings an exciting combination of fireworks and some of the best talent in Canadian music The Abrams Brothers and NQ Arbuckle. Canada Day is a FREE event and getting there couldn’t be easier! Mel Lastman Square is located at 5100 Yonge Street. To get there take the TTC Yonge subway line to the North York Centre subway station.
