Parkdale has a new problem…

FIXT POINT, the company that brought the world The Tale of a T-Shirt, is back with an exciting new site-specific, multi-media performance piece that celebrates Parkdale and the local businesses that make it work. The Tale of Town was created by performer Lisa Marie DiLiberto and director Varrick Grimes, opens November 5, 2009 at 1550 Queen Street West.

What happens when the big box store threatens to move into the Parkdale ‘hood disguised as a “Ma and Pa’s” shop? With local establishments being threatened, will the community take a stand or will this new development prove to be good thing for Parkdale? One thing is certain; The Tale of a Town is a GREAT thing for Parkdale!
