June 10-13 marks the world premiere of "Final Vinyl", a new rock comedy musical by Kevin Frei that has never been put on before - that’s right, herein lies the opportunity to be the first audience to participate and view this new production, which will hopefully be a major influence in high school theater.

A brief synopsis:
Dorkle is a small, dorky planet that worships and celebrates show tunes, doo wop, and smooth jazz music; these goofy yet loveable folk are the last remaining producers of vinyl records, which constitutes their entire economy. Enter Paxton Pax, the loyal right-hand man to Star King Gala, a hardcore ruler whose goal is to spread the influence of rock music across the universe - and destroy those planets that are unfit and unable to rock. Paxton arrives on Dorkle, only to realize that he is the infamous child who was abducted many years ago, and who, by marrying the daughter of the Solaire record company, will save the planet’s industry. Although Paxton can’t stand Dorkle’s silly lifestyle, he knows that Gala will be after the planet (and later the planet’s records), so he vows to protect this small world from the inevitable rock invasion.

This fun and hilarious comedy comes complete with many laughs and toe-tapping musical numbers. Take an hour or two out of one of your summer evenings to come check out this one-of-a-kind show.
