What would you be willing to pay to travel in time?

For the last ten years the Guild of St. Giles has been presenting the Kearney Park Renaissance Fair to raise funds for Catholic Charities while presenting life in England during the Renaissance Era. This year we have moved the location of the fair to Sycamore Island Ranch on the San Joaquin River.

Each year we invite children and families to enjoy a historic reenactment of peasants, nobility, soldiers and other segments of life in the 1500s. The highlight of the weekend is the daily Jousts performed by professional knights. These are not staged, pyrotechnical shows; these are real jousts and live steel sword fighting.

Come and experience a real joust without spending an arm and a leg, two cows and a chicken. If a family of four attends the show jousts in Los Angles it would cost them $173.80 just to get in, not counting the gas. If the same family attends our fair, for less than $50.00 they not only can attend the joust, taste authentic food, go shopping and enjoy other entertainment as well.
