Everyday children experience a variety of illnesses or injuries such as multi-system organ failure, seizures, recreational accidents, and respiratory failure.  Multidisciplinary teams including pediatric intensivists, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, and other clinicians collaborate to best meet the needs of hospitalized children.

One way to keep these children from worrying about their illnesses or injuries is to provide them with a new playroom with new books, toys, and media equipment.  This year K-Rock is dedicated to upgrading the playroom to provide a safe haven for these hospitalized children.
