Taming Your Inner Critic - Workshop

The Thriving Artist Experience is a holistic and comprehensive "success education" service that offers powerful tools and workshops for personal and professional growth geared toward performing artists and creative people. This workshop is on "The Inner Critic."

You know the voice. It constantly criticizes what you do, how you did it, and how _____ you are (you fill in the blank). Does it sounds like your mother? Your high school gym teacher? Or you do just feel you're being hard on yourself?

Cheri Stark, facilitator of this workshop, used to be attacked by her Inner Critic every day. It told her to be perfect, acheive more, and never rest until success was won. Fortunately, Cheri learned to transform her Critic so that she could continue acheiving, while not beating herself up. You can learn to do it, too!

In this workshop, you will:

• Get to know your inner critic and where it came from
• Identify the situations and beliefs that feed the Inner Critic most
• Learn a powerful process to transform your relationship to the Inner Critic
• Explore and let go of beliefs that may not serve you anymore


This workshop is 4 hours in length, highly experiential and transformative. Due to the nature of the work and location, space is limited to 20 participants and fills up quickly.
