Festival Mozaic

Festival Mozaic, formerly the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival, is a unique summer music festival that takes place each summer at the most beautiful venues across San Luis Obispo County on California's scenic Central Coast.

The Festival features a wide variety of music and venues: Evenings with the Orchestra, Music in the Vines, Music in the Mission, Afternoon Interludes, Chamber Concerts, the Fringe Concert Series, the Artists' Corner Series including pre- and post-concert discussions and intimate presentations by the performers, Family Music Mornings featuring two family friendly films, and a variety of receptions and social events all taking place in historic missions, world-class performing arts centers, wineries and intimate settings found only on the picturesque Central Coast.

Founded in 1971, the Festival selected Scott Yoo to become its music director and conductor in 2004.  The Festival has evolved to offer an ever-expanding range of programming, including early music, period instrument concerts, jazz, contemporary music, opera, chamber music, solo recitals, world music and much more.

Dates for Festival Mozaic's summer music series are July 10-26, 2009. The WinterMezzo Chamber Series will be held on Oct. 17 & 19, 2008, and Jan. 30 & 31, 2009.
