Chef de Cuisine Loren Lawe will lead a series of adult cooking classes which include demonstration, hands-on cooking by participants and a three-course lunch paired with exquisite wines. Each class will reflect Chef Lawe’s cooking philosophy, highlighting simplicity of presentation and flavor using the finest seasonal products available in the local area. Sommelier Mathew Lathan will also discuss the featured wines and explain how each compliments the course with which it is paired. 

 

Each class includes the two-hour kitchen instruction, a three-course lunch paired with wine, recipes of the dishes prepared in class and a Cooking with the Masters apron

 

In September and October, the classes will feature special “Shopping with the Chef” field trips to the new Whole Foods Market in Pasadena where participants will learn shopping tips and techniques from Chef Lawe and then return to the kitchen to prepare the fresh foods they have chosen.
