The Hollywood's Santa Parade, Sunday, November 30, 2008, will kick off the holiday season in true holiday style as it travels down the streets of Hollywood.  The parade began in 1928 in an effort to attract shoppers and their families to Hollywood Boulevard during the holiday season.

The tradition has continued over the years, and this year is no exception. The parade will travel along Hollywood Blvd. and Sunset between Highland and Vine. The traditional Holiday spirit will sparkle throughout the parade and parade route.  Floats, marching bands, equestrians, celebrities and, of course, Santa are all part of what makes this event the highlight of the season.
