Weekly Ongoing Divorce Support Group

Most individuals are either in the process of getting divorced or have already filed for divorce and looking to be part of a group to discuss the concerns that arise with divorce.

In addition, this group provides support and insight,explores and helps you to understand your reactions,

Share your reactions, identify and express the feelings,
Find support for the challenges you face,        

Understand about the stages of divorce and find where you are at
Maintain optimal mental health through the process

Identify the coping skills you are using and consider new coping skills you might choose to use
Examine distortions in thinking and transform faulty thoughts

Learn communication skills and practice effective skills
Manage anger, frustration, sadness, and loss accompanied with divorce
Gain insight about the dynamics of the marriage, recognize and grieve for what hopes and aspirations you had

Overcome impasses that may block one’s healing and growth process
Utilize positive conflict resolution tools, and eventually come to a place of acceptance by letting go or forgiving for your own health.
