Inspired by TLC's new series, THE SINGING OFFICE, TLC and Hot 92.3 are hosting a live singing competition at 5 PM on Friday, June 27, 2008 at Club Radisson in Whittier. The live competition will feature finalists of Hot 92.3's daily THE SINGING OFFICE singing competitions happening between Friday, June 13 and Friday, June 27, 2008. L.A. is one of 10 cities across the country participating in these local competitions to find the best singers. Daily finalists will win an iKaraoke and the chance to compete at Club Radisson in Whittier on Friday, June 27, where the grand-prize winner will score an HDTV/Karaoke Home Theater. TLC's new series, THE SINGING OFFICE, offers a unique way to get to know your co-workers when hosts Joey Fatone (*NSYNC) and Mel B. (Spice Girls) search for singers in the least likely of place;the workplace! In each hour-long episode of THE SINGING OFFICE, which premieres Sunday, June 29 at 9 PM (ET/PT), Mel and Joey each surprise a workplace with the goal of putting together a five-person team to learn a singing routine, complete with dance moves and costumes. Then it's Joey's office vs. Mel's office for a chance to compete in the finale. Each of the one-on-one competitions is judged by the studio audience; the finale, between the eight winning teams, is judged by renowned chart-topping singers Taylor Dayne and Jon Secada, and award-winning choreographer Travis Payne.
