CELEBRATE WITH THE ENTIRE FAMILY
A holiday classic returns to the stage of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion

 

The Kirov Ballet, one of the world’s most renowned ballet companies, performs the beloved family holiday classic The Nutcracker, accompanied by the Kirov Orchestra. This fairy tale ballet, choreographed in 1934 by Vasily Vainonen, has dazzled audiences around the world and is a perfect way to celebrate the festive holiday season. 

 

Filled with wonderment and child-like delight, Kirov’s The Nutcracker features many of ballet’s most exciting dancers including Irina Golub, Vladimir Schklyarov, Evgenia Obraztsova, and Igor Kolb.

Join dance historian and writer Elizabeth Kaye for a pre-performance discussion beginning one hour prior to curtain in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion Grand Hall.
