Cancer Survivors, friends and family invited to Relay For Life Event in Santa Ana

 

WHO:             Cancer survivors, family members, caregivers, friends, volunteers, and anyone interested in eradicating cancer as a major health concern.

 

WHAT:           The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Santa Ana.

           

The Relay For of Santa Ana is one of 26 Relay events raising funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society in Orange County. Relay For Life is a fun and unique 24 hour team event that honors cancer survivors, educates participants about healthy lifestyles and raises funds for the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving research, programs and services. Teams composed of up to 12 take turns walking or running around a track relay-style, and enjoy camping out over night, live entertainment, fun activities, food, names, and camaraderie.

WHY:  More than 133,000 Californians will be diagnosed with cancer this year; over 11,700 will live in Orange County.
