A properly designed and communicated annual incentive plan is a great tool for Human Resources professionals. The plan can create a strong retention hook for high performing employees, be used to attract key talent, and help execute the company's financial objectives. A poorly designed plan can reward destructive behavior, create a net loss on a product or service, and be so confusing that payouts are not understood or worse, considered an entitlement.

This interactive class is designed to provide attendees with a complete framework to begin the annual incentive plan design process. The objectives of this class include:

-Creating a link between performance measures and employee behavior
-Understanding the implication of threshold, target and maximum -performance measure targets
-Defining employee's target incentives
-Defining employee plan eligibility

NOTE: This class is not intended for those individuals interested in designing a sales incentive plan

Speaker: Brandon Cherry is a principal and co-founder of Presidio Pay Advisors where he provides consulting advice and implementation assistance to clients with compensation support needs.
