Our gardens will soon be winding down and getting ready to rest, do you know what they need?

Ed Holm will teach us how to do a fall clean up while readying our gardens for winter vegetables and planning for a stunning display of flowering winter annuals and spring bulbs. Ed will answer your questions about fall mulching, division of perennials, containers for winter color, and any other concerns.

Ed Holm is a frequent and popular speaker at Gamble Garden horticultural classes. Ed has taught horticulture for 35 years at San Mateo High School, and currently is associated with Wegman's nursery in Redwood City. In addition to being active in the Saratoga Horticultural Research Foundation, the California Horticultural Society, and the California Native Plant Society, Ed has contributed articles to Pacific Horticulture and Phytopathology.
