Calvary's ConcertConnect began in 2007, inspired by Mayor Newsom's "Homeless Conect" program. The intent of ConcertConnect is to give SF's many acclaimed professional musicians a chance to perform as soloists -- fully sponsored -- in a hall with splendid acoustics and a built-in audience. The profits from these intimate and special concerts are then donated to the performer's choice of local charities.
