The Children’s International Village at Kidsfaire showcases the sights and sounds of many faraway lands, through dance, song, costumes, cooking and craft projects.  Many countries encompass the village, and children will receive a passport to get stamped at each country. 

Families will enjoy the special visual wonder of more than 50 regional groups including Lion Dancing,

costumed Mariachi Performers from the Grupo Folklorico, skilled dancers from the China Dance

School and Indian Classical and Bollywood dance performed by the International Gurukul.  The Kariktan

Dance Company performs traditional Filipino dance at the Cultural Stage while the Oakland Kendo Dojo will demonstrate their Japanese Sword Throwing.   Located at the center of the Children’s International Village are 18 pavilions, where kids can create Japanese Daruma Dolls, Cambodian Theater Masks, Korean Kites, Lunar New Year Rats and Vietnamese Dragon Mobiles and more.

Celebrating it’s 10th year in Pleasanton, Kidsfaire encompasses 15 acres, and includes three stages of entertainment, hands on attractions including ice skating and scuba diving, camel rides, Princess Pavilion, Pirate Cove Adventure, ClownTown and 14 family adventure zones. 

Kidsfaire admission: $8 adults and $5 for Kids 2-12 (children under 2 are free). Kidsfaire benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bay Area.
