Meet new single friends at this fun party! The Taxi Dance was invented on San Francisco’s Barbary Coast in 1913. Women were paid ten cents a dance. Tonight we bring back this old custom for the first time to a Singles Dance! Women will be paid ten cents for each dance they choose to accept. Adults of all ages welcome. Coat & tie/dressy attire recommended. Our DJ will play your favorite hits.

LOCATION: Marriott Hotel, Upstairs Ballroom, 1770 S Amphlett Blvd, San Mateo CA 94402. From Hwy 101 or Hwy 280 take Hwy 92, Delaware/Concar exit; follow Concar to the hotel.
