Pacific Union ClubSan Francisco's Nob Hill was known as California Hill and wasn't much more than a steeply sloped scrubland until the Cable Car made its peak easily accessible allowing the Robber Barons and Bonanza Kings to turn it into a hill of palaces some 376 feet above Chinatown, North Beach and the Financial District.

Landmarks include: the Grace Cathedral, San Francisco's ritziest hotels such as The Fairmont, and the Flood Mansion (now the Pacific-Union Club).

Join us as we take an informal guided tour of these areas and get some great incite into the area.

You are welcome to meet us at any point along the way.. though we don't guarantee times & locations

  • Gathering at the Urban Diversion Clubhouse
  • Jump on the Hyde Street Cable Car
  • Arrive at the University Club.
  • Lunch at at the top of Nob Hill

Attire: We will be entering some very upscale establishments, so dress accordingly. Although we will not be walking great distances, wear some comfortable shoes. Bring $$ for lunch at the top of Nob Hill.
