East Meets West with Michael Christie, the CMF Festival Orchestra and Chinese Pipa virtuoso Wu Man performing the Colorado premiere of Tan Dun’s Pipa Concerto. Wu Man is a senior member of the Silk Road Ensemble that was founded by Yo-Yo Ma. This program also features the Colorado premiere of Behzad Ranjbaran’s Seven Passages from “Persian Trilogy,” and Dvorák’s Symphony No. 9 “From the New World.”
