Full details: The ballroom classes begins with basic instruction of dance rhythms and steps and follows with fun, pressure-free dancing. We teach waltz, rumba, tango, salsa, cha, swing, and mambo. There are two instructors who circulate to help you individually. For dancers new to ballroom dancing, there is a beginner introduction from 7 to 7:30 p.m. before the class starts. No partner or experience is required. We teach the men to lead, women to follow a lead, and how to link the steps together for fluid dancing. We feature open dances: no prior registration; you pay when you attend. We dance in a smoke and alcohol-free environment in a large hall with a beautiful hardwood floor. Dress is casual. Light refreshments. Colorado Ballroom is offered on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month. Please call 598-8624 for further information and for finding directions. |
