Full details: Colorado Public Radio is sponsoring a month-long visit to Colorado from StoryCorps, a national initiative to document everyday history and the unique stories of Americans. To welcome StoryCorps’ arrival, Colorado Public Radio is hosting an opening day event on Thursday, July 17, at Skyline Park , 17th and Arapahoe Streets in Denver from 1pm through 4pm. Celebrate Coloradans and their stories. Visitors can learn about StoryCorps and its MobileBooth, an Airstream trailer outfitted with a recording studio. The afternoon portion will include public entertainment by the Rocky Mountain Storytellers Guild and Blue Turtle Tales. For more information, visit www.CPR.org. |
