“The Body is Art” April 17 - June 21, 2008 The representation of the nude in art is an iconographic theme… significant in every period of history. This exhibition gathers works on paper created by contemporary print makers and photographers and contrasts their treatment of the human body. Images that are colorful, sensual, surrealistic, abstracted, and fragmented play against one another to create an exhibition reflecting multiple visions of the figure.
