Full details: Mercury Café presents The Mercury Motley Players in Allied Witches - Presidential Election Convention 2008 Every year the Mercury Motley Players presents an original dramedy. Throughout the course of the evening the witches poke fun at many political entities - in typical motley fashion. This year’s production, “Allied Witches - Presidential Election Convention 2008” is a satirical exploration of our democratic process with special appearances by Emma Goldman, Annie Sprinkle, Eleanor Roosevelt, Dick Cheney, John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Cynthia McKinny, Michelle Obama and more. The Mercury Motley Players present “Allied Witches - Presidential Election Convention 2008” on August 22, 23 and 29 at the Mercury Café, 2199 California Street, Denver. All performances at 7:30 p.m. Ticket are $10 and available by calling the Box Office at 303-294-9258. The Mercury Café - one of Denver’s most popular landmarks features music, theatre, dining, poetry readings, swing, salsa and tango dancing, including dance lessons.
