Aum. Ha. Oasis, the Chicago local body of Ordo Templi Orientis (the Order of Eastern Templars, or the Order of the Temple of the East) is a fraternal Thelemic body dedicated to the high purpose of securing the Liberty of the Individual and his or her advancement in Light, Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge, and Power through Beauty, Courage, and Wit, on the Foundation of Universal Brotherhood.  While the Law of Thelema can only be fulfilled through each individual’s actions, nevertheless many worthy aspirants to the Great Work have a genuine need for information, guidance, fellowship, or the opportunity to assist their fellow aspirants and serve humanity.  Such aspirants will find welcome in OTO. The Oasis hosts a monthly recital of the Gnostic Mass, also known as Liber XV.  This mass is the Central Ritual of our Order and is an excellent introduction to our work.  It is always held on the last Sunday of the month.  It is open to all who are interested in the Ritual Magic/Thelemic path.
