People Serving People’s six annual Strike Out Homelessness event is in collaboration with Minnesota Twins, the Star Tribune, and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Drawing nearly 600 people each year, the event begins with a pre-game party and wraps up with a baseball game.  This year, fans will cheer on the Minnesota Twins as they play the Cleveland Indians.  The pre-game party will include a barbeque dinner, live acoustic music, children’s activities, a silent auction and MN Twins player appearances.  All proceeds will go to People Serving People, the largest and most comprehensive family-focused shelter in Minnesota.
