Full details:
Jane Barrash “retired” from ice skating at age thirteen.  Thirty-six years later, she announced she would train for a 50th birthday performance.  Despite many twists and turns (and a broken foot), the Quantum Leap Event was held April 21, 2007.  Barrash will share the story of her modern-day fairy tale at a SHiFT Forum on June 8 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Dunn Brothers Coffee Shop in Loring Park.

Barrash, Executive Director of Continuum Center, has been working with internationally known physicists, physicians, brain scientists, creativity experts, corporate leaders and cultural leaders since 1984. Barrash’s story is the subject of a documentary film, “Making the Quantum Leap,” which is described as “the first real-life, real-time documentary story about the concepts and theories of making ‘impossible’ things come true in our magical, interconnected universe.”
