Why work when you can spend Monday, August 11th with friends at Tanoan Country Club swingin’

fore Ronald McDonald House Charities of New Mexico. The fifth annual tournament features shotgun

starts at 8 a.m. or 1 p.m. and golfers are treated to a light breakfast, lunch and Post Tournament Dinner
donated by JC’s NYPD. All golfers receive a swag bag and 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams for both flights

receive prizes. Contests, photos with Ronald McDonald and some great raffle prizes add to the fun of

the day.

The Ronald House serves as a “home away from home” for families and their seriously ill children. The House has 18 rooms and families stay with us for just a night or two, or for months, depending on the treatment their child is receiving. In 2008 we will expand the House to 30 rooms allowing us to serve an additional 400 families each and every year.  The families are provided with a private room with bath, a well-stocked kitchen and pantry, dinners prepared by community volunteers and emotional support from other families dealing with similar situations. We also help address the needs of local families with sick children through the services we provide at the Ronald McDonald Family Room at UNM Hospital.
