3rd Annual smAlbany Small Business Day

The 3^rd Annual smAlbany Small Business Day is a free business event taking place on July 9^th, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Express on Western Avenue. This event starts at 10:00am and wraps up at 7:00pm, making for a full day of expert seminars, business display tables and networking opportunities.

Having been held at the Liberteks.com showroom on 1648 Western Ave. in the past, this year the event has outgrown it’s old home and has been moved to the Holiday Inn Express, where twenty-five business display tables will be set up and 6 local business professionals will be speaking on various subjects from S.E.O. Marketing to Express Banking to Intellectual Property Rights and more. Also being featured will be webinars on spam solutions and improving employee productivity, as well as WROW’s $8,000 Build Your Business Grand Prize winner announcement!

smAlbany was concieved because of the tight-knit business community surrounding the Capital District. With the difficult economic times, small businesses need to be agile and on the cutting edge of their field. From Google Adwords to protecting a company's intellectual property to learning how to start a new career path, smAlbany's seminars give business owners the knowledge to be ahead of game.

All new this year are the tradeshow tables, comprised of local small businesses offering unique products and services designed for the small business owner and area professional. “We’re really excited about being able to highlight the services and products available for small businesses right here in the Capital District,” said Daniel Smith, Marketing Coordinator for Liberteks.com, “Many area business owners are unaware of all the great opportunities to grow their business using the products and services available to them right in their own back yard.”
