When we learn to dive into the free fall of our most difficult experiences, we find that we are not the limited person we thought we were—we are capable of infinitely more than we had imagined. Through writing exercises, storytelling, small group exercises and readings, this intensive workshop is designed to help us break through our false “life myth” by daring to face and tell “the scary truth.” In the act of self-revelation—to oneself and others—we learn to create art from the challenging materials of our own lives; we awaken to our deeper, storytelling voice, which knows powerful secrets hidden from our conscious minds. We also learn that struggle (our greatest ally as writers) always carries the seeds of redemption, sown by surprise and loss of control, and that self-realization is within our reach.

Note: This workshop is appropriate for anyone interested in the alchemy of transformation through writing. No experience is needed.
