Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to a free, public screening of the Steven Spielberg classic film Jaws that will be held on the Flight Deck of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue) in Manhattan, on Friday, July 17th at 8:30 PM (doors open at 7:30 PM). The screening of Jaws is the second outdoor screening in the Summer Movie Series at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.  On the third Friday of each summer month, a classic film – one relating to the sea, one to air and one to space – will be shown just after sundown on a huge screen on the Flight Deck.  Apollo 13 will be shown on August 21st and Top Gun was screened on June 19th.   Seating at the screening will be on a first-come, first-served basis.  Visitors are encouraged to bring food and beverages to the screening, however alcohol is not permitted.   For more information and for up-to-date information on weather conditions, visit www.intrepidmuseum.org.
