Friends of the Children NY (FOTC) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  FOTC is an organization that is instrumental in changing the destiny of New York City’s most at-risk children.  These children are considered vulnerable to teen pregnancy, delinquency, dropping out of school, drug and alcohol abuse, and gang involvement.  We select only those children deemed most likely to fail.  And our program works. WHAT WE DO FOTC-NY places a full-time paid professional Friend, a loving adult, in the lives of vulnerable children.  We make a long-term commitment to each child; our children enter the program, usually in kindergarten and we work with them straight through high school.
