House Beautiful magazine brings to life its second annual “Kitchen of the Year,” created with the Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten, Food Network personality, best-selling cookbook author and House Beautiful Contributing Editor.   This year’s Kitchen brings the Barefoot Contessa’s signature East Hampton style right into the heart of Manhattan in a custom-created glass conservatory: more than 1,000 square feet of state-of-the-art, fully functioning kitchen and living space surrounded by an additional 1,000 square feet of beautifully decorated and landscaped decks for outdoor entertaining.

Visitors will be able to experience this ultimate kitchen, as envisioned by the Barefoot Contessa, free of charge.  Each day, tours and demonstrations on everything from kitchen design to recipe preparation to product sampling will be offered.

Adding to this celebration of all things culinary, “Tastes of Summer,” a sampling of food and beverages from Rockefeller Center’s renowned restaurants, will take place from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, through Thursday, July 23.  Don’t miss offerings from The Sea Grill, Morrell Wine Bar & Café, AJ Maxwell’s, Magnolia Bakery, Rock Center Café, and many more.
