Poets House presents Writing the Hudson River, a panel discussion and reading in honor of the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson’s voyage to New York.

 Poets Nancy Willard and Mark Wunderlich and scholars Judith Richardson and Wayne Franklin will explore the cultural and environmental tributaries that have flowed through the literature of the Hudson River Valley, from Native American poetic traditions to the urban pastoral poetry of John Ashbery.
