Hello, and Welcome to the
New Rochester Amateur Radio Association Hamfest!

Everyone here at RaRa is very excited because May 30th 2009 is our 75th Hamfest!

It’s also our “ALL NEW ROCHESTER HAMFEST” featuring:

·      New location - The Barnard Carnival Grounds is located just minutes from I-390 at 360 Maiden Lane in Rochester, NY 14616 with nearly unlimited flea market parking.

·      New LOW admission fee – Only $5.00 per person, children under 16 accompanied by an adult are FREE, and admission includes flea market parking! So clean out the shack and bring everything to the flea market.

·      New Vendors – Bath tub inserts, waterproofing, and any other “off topic” vendors are being replaced with technology vendors!

·      New food and drink offerings – Beginning with Breakfast sandwiches in the morning, followed by Hot dogs, Hamburgers, Sausage, and more for lunch, ending with the first RaRa Fish Fry at 6pm. For those of you on a liquid diet, there will be a full bar open most of the day! Now don’t expect to waste your allowance on food… a Hamburger will only set you back about $2.50!

We look forward to you joining us and sharing a great day at the ALL NEW Rochester Hamfest brought to you by an all new production team.

·      Please note that the former Hamfest chairman has resigned in mid-November, 2008. He continues to run his old website after repeated requests to take it down! The ARRL has officially approved this new date and location. It will be the 2009 Atlantic Division Convention.

The new official Hamfest website is on the RARA webpage:
