David Archuleta

In his first-ever tour stop at PlayhouseSquare, American Idol favorite David Archuleta offers up his hits plus holiday cheer by way of his newly-released album Christmas From The Heart.  PlayhouseSquare is one of the 17 cities on the tour.  At 17 David was the youngest Idol competitor on Idol, became the 7th season runner-up.  His signature range and pure pitch, coupled with a huge fan base, earned him a record contract (most recent single is “Touch My Hand”), a national Idol tour and a 2009 sold out summer co-tour with Disney stay Demi Lovato. In September, David received an Alma Award as the “Year in Music’s Rising Male Star.”  (Alma Awards acknowledge outstanding contributions of Latinos in TV, music & sports.  David’s heritage is Honduran, Mexican and Irish.)
