On Sat. June 13th, Braille will headline a hip hop concert with Nik Fury, the Sons of Vindication, the RAW Krew b-boy dance team and the BreakDown Dance Company, to benefit the HIV Alliance. Recently, the HIV Alliance had a break in.  Computers were damaged and stolen.  Food gift cards, meant to provide basic nutrition for their clients were stolen.  The HIV Alliance has already had to let go some of their case managers, due to lessened funding in a hard economy.  The organizers of the concert hope to help replace the losses. Braille will be giving everyone in attendance a copy of his latest c.d. release as a thank you for supporting the HIV Alliance.   Concert admission is by a suggested donation of 10$ to the HIV Alliance. Everyone involved in this concert is donating their time, goods and service, thus all money received will be given directly to the HIV Alliance to help them care for our neighbors living with the virus and prevent new infections. Braille was the opener for James Brown for the year of Mr. Brown’s last tour.  He has toured as the opener for De La Soul.  He has recorded with members of Arrested Development and others.  Braille records for the Syntax label and owns the Hip Hop is Music label.  He as been honored with critical acclaim, including having been declared The Source magazines,  “Up and Coming Rap Artist to Watch “ The concert is proudly presented by Redemption Rocks!
