Friday night kirtans offered at local wellness center! If you enjoy yoga, meditation, or ecstatic dance, you will probably love chanting. Kirtan, or devotional chanting, is a special form of music that celebrates the Divine energy in all of us. Each person who attends becomes part of the music by participating in the song. Most chants are in sanskrit and are easy to learn. All are welcome, regardless of any prior kirtan/musical experience. Bring a cushion and a bottle of water. This event is offered on a donation basis. All donations will be used to beautify the Awakenings space.
