Tim O'Brien is American country and bluegrass musician. In addition to singing, he plays guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bouzouki and mandocello. To date, he has released more than ten studio albums, including his solo album Fiddler’s Green which won a Grammy in 2006. He is best known as a founding member of the band Hot Rize. Considered one of the most innovative and entertaining bluegrass bands of its era, Hot Rise won the International Bluegrass Music Association's first Entertainer of the Year award in 1990. O'Brien has also been honored with two IBMA's Male Vocalist of the Year awards; in 1993 and 2006.  In addition to the concert at  2:30 Tim will present a 90 minute “Tim O’Brien” workshop; a great chance for fans to ask questions and to hear details about Tim’s long career including insights into his songwriting and his philosophies on touring, performing and the music business.
