Full details:

The Movement Workshop Group kick off a tri-city tour at Philadelphia’s Gershman Y with the premiere of Moontides in 23, 149 Parts, an original dance/theater hybrid piece. Director Leslie Guyton, who traveled with Pina Bausch's Tanztheater Wuppertal, and Boston's most innovative modern dance and hip-hop choreographer Liza Hostetler-Ingalls come together to create a dance/theater hybrid about dreams, addiction, and the depths of the ocean. Beautiful visuals, surprising truth, lots of laughs. Performances are part of the Philly Fringe Festival on Saturday September 6th @ 8:00pm and Sunday September 7th @ 2:00pm.

By taking the audience on a trip through an underwater dream, Moontides in 23, 149 Parts looks at how addiction controls the mind. Inspired by the element of water, this is the third in a four-part series of dance/theater works which explore each of the four elements.

The performances at The Gershman Y of Moontides in 23,149 Parts kick off The Movement Workshop Group’s fall tour in Philadelphia, Boston, and New York City.  Be among the first to see this World-Premier piece!
