Corporate Networking Breakfast

The purpose of the breakfast is to introduce you to the NKF and learn how - for no monetary investment - you can generate immeasurable company goodwill throughout the community and bolster employee team spirit at the same time!

Chronic kidney disease is a public health problem affecting 26 million Americans. Statistics show that one in eight American adults has kidney disease. In fact, the Pittsburgh metropolitan region has the highest number of African Americans with kidney failure in the country and the third highest number of Caucasians. Your support can help change these numbers!

Our fundraising goal for the 2009 Kidney Walk is $150,000! It’s an aggressive goal, but I am confident we will reach it, and ultimately save lives, if your company establishes a Kidney Walk Corporate Team. Funds are raised through individual donations gathered by team members from co-workers and their families, friends and neighbors.

Whether you have 5 or 5,000 employees, participation in the Kidney Walk is a great way to promote teamwork among employees and families. It demonstrates that your company wants to play an important role in supporting worthy, charitable causes. Employees are proud to work for socially responsible companies that are involved in the community.
