Full details:

The Tikkun Chant Circle is a monthly group that uses Hebrew Chant as a form of meditation. No prior knowledge of singing, chanting, or Hebrew language is necessary. People of all faiths are welcome.

The next 2 gatherings will be Sunday, July 20th at 10:00 AM and Sunday, August 10th at 10:00 AM, at the Labor Zionist Center, 6328 Forbes Avenue in Squirrel Hill, 15217. Please show up before 10:00 to get settled in. We will finish by 11:30.

Hebrew chanting is a form of meditation that can open the doors of the heart. Repetition of a sacred Hebrew phrase can clear the mind of chatter, and connect us to each other and to the Divine. We will explore sacred phrases from sources such as Psalms, Isaiah, the Jewish liturgy, etc. by immersing ourselves in simple, repetitive melodies and rhythms. We will use our collective group energy to deepen our connection to Creation.

You can bring: An open mind and heart, drums or percussion instruments (optional), a $5 suggested donation to help defray costs.

Hope to see you there!

David Goldstein, Leader
