 The 1st Annual Beale Street Jazz and Golf Festival

     Thousands will converge on Memphis for the 1st Annual Beale Street Jazz Festival and Golf Classic, Oct. 1-3, 2009.  Jazz lovers and tee-time buffs from all over the southeast region will enjoy idyllic days on the greens and cool, sultry nights of jazz on Beale Street.

     The Jazz Fest will commence on Oct, 2nd, featuring a cornucopia of jazz - varied and versatile, including: classic jazz, contemporary jazz, funk jazz, pop-fusion jazz, hip-hop jazz, Latin jazz, nu jazz, bluesy jazz and smooth jazz - something for everyone.  Ten of Beale's most popular nightspots will host these highly anticipated, standing room-only sets.  There will be 3 sets at each participating venue on Friday and Saturday nights.

     Excusions to the National Civil Rights Museum, Rock N Soul Museum, Stax Museum, and Graceland.
