On October 31st 2009, more than 300 participants, their family members and event supporters are expected to attend our 3rd annual “i-matter” Run/Walk, which will be held at Ascarate Park at 6900 Delta. The purpose of the event is to raise funds to benefit the population of the people that we serve at Community Options. Our nonprofit organization, now in its 20th year, works with individuals who have developmental disabilities. . Community Options provides housing, employment, support services and advocacy assistance to help empower over 2,700 people with disabilities. Our efforts are focused on keeping individuals with developmental disabilities from having to leave their homes and move into institutions such as nursing homes or state run schools. 

100% of the proceeds benefit people with developmental disabilities.
