Full details: I wanted to remind you of June 6th, 2009, when FantaSci rises from the ashes like the fabled Phoenix, and returns to the Chesapeake Library under the direction of its original creator. You can visit www.fantasciconvention.com to see what is in store this year as FantaSci makes a wonderful comeback. And even better.... It is TOTALLY FREE!!!! This is great entertainment for the whole family, all the way from the babies to grandma and grandpa! Dress up as your favorite Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Comic, or Anime character and come out for great programs, a huge Artists' Alley, talented local Authors, some cool vendors and comics, some TV Celebrities, and some wonderful displays.... not to mention all the fan groups in costume running around doing skits and reenactments! We even have fun stuff planned for after the library closes with Fantasmo Cult Cinema Explosion and a couple of great movies! SO MARK YOUR CALENDER AND COME OUT AND SHOW JIM HOW MUCH WE APPRECIATE HIM REVIVING FANTASCI!!!!! Hope to see you there!!! |
