4-H IS COMING TO BLUEBIRD GAP FARM!The Bluebird Gap Farm is starting a 4-H Club for Youth ages 5-18 The Bluebird Gap Farm is a unique park in the heart of Hampton, Virginia. With 60 acres and more than 250 domestic and wild animals, the Farm offers a glimpse of rural life just a stones throw from the Hampton Coliseum. By starting a 4-H Club at the Farm, Rangers and Volunteers plan to provide an interactive experience for youth participants. With projects ranging from agriculture to rocket science and more, 4-H at the Farm will offer a unique blend of both rural and urban curriculum.  Initial Interest Meeting: Saturday, March 20th from 11am to 12 noon. Parents, Volunteer and Youth ages 5-18 Join us at the Bluebird Amphitheater. A regular meeting schedule will be discussed at that time.

Children involved in 4-H perform better in those subjects and are more likely to pursue science careers, according to the study, released Wednesday in conjunction with 4-H National Youth Science Day. 4-H, Invent the Future!
