The Gynecologic Cancer Foundation (GCF) will hold its Inaugural Half Marathon and 5K Road Race through the streets of Washington, D.C. during a full weekend of gynecologic cancer awareness programs involving physicians, the advocacy community, survivors and women currently battling gynecologic cancers. GCF supports research for all gynecologic cancers, promotes public awareness of the disease, and educates women about prevention, early detection and optimal treatment.. The half marathon and 5K race will raise money to support GCF programs and research funding.
