Argosy Announces a Thanksgiving Dinner CruiseDesigned for the Family SEATTLE -- Argosy Cruises announces a Thanksgiving Dinner Cruise on Thursday, November 26th, 2009 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on the Royal Argosy.  This 3-hour cruise, departing from Pier 56 on the Seattle Waterfront, features breathtaking views of the Seattle area, a spectacular 4-course price-fixed menu, coffee, tea, soda and live entertainment.  And the bonus - for any parent who attempts going to a nice dinner with their children - a special area (unsupervised) has been set aside for younger children to make arts and crafts projects. Adult price is $69, children 5-12 are $39 and kids 4 and under are free. Gratuity and beverages are additional on board. The 4-course menu features potato crusted goat cheese served with a pear hazelnut chutney and a balsamic reduction, a baby field greens salad tossed with stone ground mustard and rosemary vinaigrette, apples, dried cranberries, crumbles blue cheese and candied walnuts and cinnamon swirl raisin bread croutons.  Four entrees options include traditional roast turkey with herb bread stuffing and giblet gravy, mashed potatoes, baby butter peas and caramelized onions, spiced creamed yams and fresh brandied cranberry sauce and a choice between three non-traditional entrees (vegetarian option always available).  For dessert guests will be served pumpkin cheesecake with rum caramel sauce. Unlike any other ship in the United States, the Royal Argosy utilizes gas ranges with open flame to create freshly prepared gourmet meals. Cruises feature a combination of distinctive regional cuisine in an elegant décor. Raised central seating ensures all guests will enjoy sweeping views.  Argosy Cruises, a family-owned and locally-operated Seattle company, is Washington State’s premier cruise company, offering guests public and private cruises, Royal Argosy brunch, lunch and dinner cruises and the Tillicum Village salmon bake experience.  Argosy Cruises has been operating in Seattle for more than 60 years and has carried more than 7 million passengers.  For more information or to inquire about reservations, call (206) 623-1445, or visit the company’s website at argosycruises.com. Contact: Maureen Black 206.623.1445 maureenb@argosycruises.com# # #
